The Authorization burndown displays in two places: scheduled appointments and completed appointments, and the authorizations screen. This can help you determine the status of an authorization.

The burndown displays the following:
- Measure - Typically the authorization is in Hours or Units
- Authorized - Total number of units authorized for the client.
- Scheduled - Units associated with scheduled appointments (gray/blue appointments on the calendar). Once these units are rendered/completed, they automatically move to the "Completed" category.
- Completed - Units that have been rendered and marked as complete (dark green appointments on the calendar). When these units are submitted for billing, they automatically move to the "Submitted for Billing" category and are removed from this section.
- Submitted for Billing (Insurance Only) - Total units from completed appointments that have been submitted to billing. These units are removed from the "Completed" section once submitted.
To find the Remaining Hours: Authorized - Scheduled - Completed - Submitted for Billing = Remaining Hours.
