To ensure Power BI reports are accurate, complete, and truly useful for decision-making, it’s important that key data in Boost is kept up to date. Power BI reflects what exists in Boost—so the more complete and timely the data, the more valuable the insights.
We strongly recommend confirming the following items are consistently maintained:
Client Accepted Hours are filled out
Accepted hours drive capacity, utilization, and availability metrics. If these are missing or incomplete, reports may show gaps or misleading results.
Navigate to: Clients > Availability > Client Accepted Hours
Client and Team Member availability is entered
Availability data allows Power BI to accurately reflect scheduling efficiency, open capacity, and staffing alignment.
Navigate to: Clients > Availability > enter in availability OR Employees > Schedule > Availability
Schedules are entered at least one week in advance
Forward-looking schedules power forecasting and planning reports. Entering schedules ahead of time ensures upcoming demand and coverage are visible in Power BI.
Sessions are Rendered Daily
Rendering sessions promptly keeps production, utilization, and billing-related reports current and prevents lagging or underreported metrics.
Keeping these areas up to date in Boost ensures Power BI can deliver reliable insights—without extra troubleshooting or manual reconciliation.
